And Luke Makes Four!!

Welcome to the world Luke William Morrison! We love you so much already!

Luke joined us on July 2 at 7:39 a.m. at Methodist West Hospital. He was delivered by Dr. Rebecca Shaw by c-section. He weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. All the nurses thought it was pretty funny that as soon as his head popped out he was crying - even before the rest of his body was out! He scored a 9 out of 10 on his apgar score (the scoring they do when babies are born that assess their overall health and appearence). Most babies score 7 or 8 but because he was crying right away, he was a perfect pink color and just overall almost perfect he scored a 9! Our stay at the hospital was great. We delivered at the new Methodist West hospital and the staff were all great including his nurses - Shasta, Jamie, Sherry and Megan! It was pretty quiet there and one night we were the only patient on the unit. Not good for the hospital but we loved it!

We've been home since Monday and all is going well here as well. Luke has been perfect and Logan is adjusting well. Overall he doesn't interact with Luke too much but he'll check him out every once in a while and is already showing signs that he is a great brother! Whenever he finds Luke's little green pacifier laying around he'll grab it and bring it to him. He knows how important those pacifiers are!

I feel very blessed to have such two perfect little boys and the best daddy in the world to help take care of them (and me)! Enjoy some of the below photos of Logan, Luke and our family of four! :-)

He's a little ham but sure is cute!

Logan loves to play on the couch - here with a truck and Mr. Bear as well!
Have I mentioned that Logan loves, loves, loves the mower! Here he is waiting for daddy to start mowing.

Logan is getting anxious and here I'm telling him that he has to wait for daddy before the mowing can start.

Grandma and her boys

Logan playing with his car in the back yard. He loves to push it around. Pat says "It's like a senior photo with his car!"

Grandma took Logan to the 4th of July parade while we were in the hospital. Here he is sitting his his Cars chair enjoying a sucker.

I love ravioli

Before the delivery

Right after the delivery. He came out screaming! It is such a great sound and feeling the first time you hear this cry - I remember it with Logan and will remember this one too!

Pretty decent size for being a week early!

Gma and Gpa Morrison!

Logan playing with his fire truck and little einsteins book that we bought for him and had waiting for him when he arrived to the hospital as a congrats on being a big brother gift! He loves fire trucks and the Little Einsteins!

I love you Luke and can't wait to cause lots of trouble with you!

Our Family of four!!

Some of the photos taken at the hospital by the hospital photographer - they turned out great but how couldn't they with such a perfect model!

We tried to get a few with Logan and Luke but Logan really wasn't interested. This is the best we got. :-)
