Morrison Family: Surprise!

Most of you have probably heard by now but we are so excited to announce that Logan will be a big brother in early July, 2010! All is well and I am currently a little over 10 weeks along. I did have some nausea and a little aversion to food off and on for a few weeks but it really wasn't that bad. I remember it being worse with Logan! Could that be a sign that this one is a girl....???!!! Well according to Pat this one is a boy too. I haven't decided yet and will wait a few more weeks before I make my prediction. We will find out at our 20 week appointment what the gender is. Many people decide to wait but Pat and I both decided that neither of us could do that! We’ve chatted about names a little but really aren’t even close to picking one, I think it is going to be a lot harder this time!

Logan continues to be a happy growing boy. He is now a little over 14 months old and continues to discover the world more and more each day. He is very active and likes to stay busy. It isn’t very often that he’ll just sit back and relax – every once in a while he’ll sit with dad and let him rub his belly but no such luck with me. The only cuddle/relax time I get with him is when he is half asleep and even then he is trying to wiggle free! His personality continues to show through – he can be stubborn like all little boys but he knows what no means and he’ll listen most of the time. He is already talking back though when he doesn’t get his way or is told no…which is cute for right now. I’ll tell him no and he’ll point at me or the thing that he wants and just grunt or yell at me. Pretty funny and cute! He has grown to love his new daycare room and really loves his teacher Colleen (also known as Coco to the kids). Logan runs to her to give her a hug each morning when he sees her – makes me feel good leaving him there for the day. I’m so happy that we have a daycare at work and one as good as this one. The teachers are all great and really care about the kids. Logan is learning so much and gets to do so many different things each day!
