Our baby turned 1!

Happy first birthday to our little Luke! We had a great day at Ashby Park wading pool and celebrated with lots of great friends and family. Luke absolutely loves the water and with a summer July birthday - the pool sounded like a great idea!

It is hard for me to believe that Luke is one already - he has grown so fast and is such a smart little boy. He loves to explore the house and follow his brother around. He isn't walking yet but is very close - I believe if he actually tried that he could do it. He has become a very fast crawler and loves when we chase him around the house. He loves to giggle and be tickled. He wants to do everything that Logan is doing and gets mad when he can't. He loves to tackle Logan and jump on him and is learning how to play nice. He loves to give Logan love taps on the head (which is really like big smacks) and isn't happy when we tell him he can't do that. Logan says "Naughty Baby".

He is a very good eater and the other night finished all of his food and everything that Logan didn't eat (which was a lot). He is started to grow into his weight a little bit more and is growing so fast. At his one year physical he was 22 lbs and 10 oz (45 percentile when compared to others his age), 31 inches (75 percentile) and I can't remember the size of his head but it was in the 92 percentile! He's got a big brain in there!

Our best try of getting a family shot. Pretty sad isn't it! :-)

Here are some photos from the Urbandale Fourth of July Carnival

I couldn't believe he actually wanted to ride on these but he did...and he regretted it the moment it started. He was on the verge of crying the whole time and just kept saying "Mommy??"
