Life has been busy in the Morrison household with no hope of slowing down! Sorry that we haven't had a blog post in a while but here is a little sneak peak into our current life
Logan:
- Logan is still the sweet sensitive boy he has always been and he has enough energy to power the whole town of Urbandale if the need ever arouse. He is always on the go and only slightly slows down when he's watching his favorite TV shows. But even then he's jumping off the couch or doing somersaults. Last night as we were winding down for bed..."Look mommy, I'm upside down"
- Logan enjoys playing with his brother, most of the time anyway, and we often hear him saying "come-on Uke, lets play" (He can't quite say Luke yet so it comes out as U-ke)
- Logan loves to play in tents and anywhere he can make himself a little cubby. For awhile he would only sleep in his transformers tent so I made him a little tent that would drape over his bed. He was satisfied with that for a little while but many times we'll check on him at night and he'll have made himself a new bed somewhere else. Sometimes he'll make a little cubby in his closet by pulling all of his blankets in there and then surrounding himself with his toys. Other times he'll pull out the tunnel part of his transformers tent and sleep in there.
Luke:
- Luke is our determined, fiesty little one who is adament about getting his way. He does not like to give in to demands and he's had many stand-offs with mom and dad over this. Sometimes we give in and sometimes we don't.
- He loves to tease his brother - taking toys from him and running or instigating fights. Logan does not always enjoy this and we've had many of our first Morrison boy fights already.
- Luke is starting to talk and he is picking up a lot of words - thank you, more, yea, no, please.
- He loves to just start shouting out "mama, dada, mama, dada" until he gets one of us to respond. Sometimes he wants something and sometimes he doesn't!
- He used to be a really good eater but resently he has decided he only wants sweet things. He'll eat his fruit and yogurt and then push the rest of his food on the floor or throw it. Yes, it is as fun as it sounds.
Here are some photos from the past few months - enjoy!
