I've cut down to four days a week at work and I now get Wednesdays off and I love it! Today was a beautiful day so Logan, Emma, Snoop and I went on a walk. We walked over to a local park and the dogs got to run like crazy. They were both covered in mud and wiped out by the time we got back home! I'm so excited for spring to arrive so we can be outside even more. Enjoy some photos taken today!

Logan is 4 months today!!!
I can't believe that my little boy is four months old today. Time goes by so fast!! Logan is growing so much and developing his own little personality. Here are some highlights from the past few weeks:

The girls and our babes. It is hard to believe that a couple years ago we all thought "Wouldn't it be neat if we happened to all have babies around the same time?" As fate would have it, we each had our first baby within a month of each other. This was our first of many get-togethers and I'm excited to see the babies grow up together and some day look back on these photos.

- Logan continues to think that Daddy is the funniest person in the world. Pat can almost always get him to laugh and I can already see the day that they gang up on mommy.
- I love when I walk into the room and Logan sees me and slowly gets the biggest smile on his face. It's like he's thinking "I think that is my mommy...wait a second, it is my mommy!!"
- Logan has the cutest little voice and we love when he talks to us. His changing table seems to be his place for conversation. I think he'll be talking before he walks!
- Logan loves to watch basketball!
- We catch him talking to his mobile in the morning every once in awhile. He starts laughing and buries his face in his hands when we catch him doing it - like he's embarresed that he got caught or something.
- I'm amazed at how strong he is.
- He is sometimes super busy with his legs and arms like he just can't stop moving them.
- Two of his favorite activities are still taking a bath and getting his diaper changed. He loves to pee on mommy too and I can't understand how he's gotten me about 6-8 times and Pat zero times!?!? Are they ganging up on me already?
- He has teeth that are trying to break through so he loves to have his hands in his mouth - he tries his hardest to get both hands in his mouth at the same time. Impossible but he keeps trying.
- Logan loves to stand up and he looks so cute when he does. He is still pretty top heavy so he just kinda weaves back and forth on his little legs!
- I love the way he looks up at me as I'm trying to put him to sleep. He'll be laying on my chest and he'll look up at me a few times as he is dozing off...just to make sure I'm still there.
Such a sweet face. He sucks on his bottom lip like this often!

"No Dad, for the last time, I do not want to drive the Kia when I turn 16!"

My name is Cowboy Logan. Anyone seen my horse?

Logan is growing out of his "skinny" phase and is starting to chunk up a little - such a cutie!!

Logan and his friends!
We attended Karla and Sam's baby shower this past weekend in North Liberty and had a great time! Logan had a fun time with a couple of his best friends. Sam is such a cutie and is a little Nate Jr. for sure - although we see some of Karla in him too! Logan is so happy to have a buddy now and can't wait to eat dirt and play b-ball with Sam!
Logan also got to see one of his favorite girls this weekend - Ella. She is still as cute as can be and enjoyed the attention of not one boy but two! Logan definitely has some competition! I have a video of the three of them together but I'm having trouble getting it to upload. I'll try again later.

Karla and Sam. Sam was such a good boy throughout the whole shower! Logan wasn't too out of control although he did have one freak out moment that lasted about 15 minutes.

What a couple handsome looking dudes - look out ladies!
This photo makes me think Logan really needs a haircut!!

"Dude, I told you she was a looker!"

Come here Logan, I've got a secret for you. Do you know our mom's are crazy!
Here, lets hold hands and get through these photos together.

Holiday Fun
Enjoy some of our photos from the past couple weeks. We had a great holiday and were able to see lots of family and friends. We traveled to Montezuma and spent time with the Morrison side of the family and then stayed at a hotel in Coralville to celebrate with Grandma Cathy and Chad. We are excited for 2009 and the many adventures it will bring!
Congratulations to Karla and Nate on the birth of their baby boy - Sam Nathan Adair. Yes, Logan finally has a little buddy and we can't wait to meet him!!

Such a sweet angel when he sleeps!

Big blue eyes with pink lips!

Swimming for the first time (or just putting his feet in at least!). He loved it and I'm hoping to take a mom and baby swim class with him once he turns 6 months.

Cuddling with Grandma after the swim. (And licking her arm)

Reading his Courderoy book from GiGi. Sad to say that Emma and Snoop got ahold of his Courderoy bear shortly after this pic was taken. Not the first and sure not to be the last victim of Logan's best buds.

Open it, open it, open it please!!

Thanks Great Grandma Morrison, I was getting hungry!

Logan and Ella meet! She is such a doll and Logan thought she was pretty cute too! No pressure Logan and Ella but your parents have begun wedding bill negotiations already :-)
Can't wait until more meetings between Logan and all of his friends.

Logan getting ready for his first New Year's Eve party. The neighbors had a get-together that we stopped over at. He is such a little model and he made us take his picture like this!

Logan in his bouncy seat he got for Christmas from Grandma - he isn't quite big enough yet to bounce much but he will be soon!

Hope to see you all soon!!

Our growing little boy!!
Hi all -
Logan is now 10 and half weeks old and as cute as can be! He still has a lot of fussiness in him but we are hoping he'll grow out of that in the next few weeks. He is sleeping about 8 hours a night which is great. Some nights he has trouble going to sleep (last night!!) but once he is asleep he sleeps pretty good. Some of his favorite things include watching football (really he does love this - if we put him in his carseat in front of the TV when football is on he just stares at the TV - I know, I know it is too early for this!!); watching his mobile with lion, giraffe, elephant and alligator (we wish the mobile would play longer than 3 minutes though so we wouldn't have to keep winding it!); getting his diaper changed; taking a bath (his favorite part of the day); playing with Daddy when he comes home from work (Logan will just laugh and laugh at daddy when he gets home!); cuddling with mommy (ok this is really one of my favorite things but Logan likes it too!)
I'm sadly returning to work part time next week and then will be back full-time on Jan 5. I am excited to get back to work but really sad at the same time. I will really miss Logan during the day but so glad that the hospital has an on-site daycare. Logan will be within 2 minutes of me all day long and I can visit him anytime (which I fully plan to take advantage of!)
Please enjoy the below photos of our growing little boy. It's amazing how much I love my little Bugga Boo (my nickname for him) and I can't wait to keep watching him grow!!

Here is Logan and Daddy saving the world by playing computer games. Logan was pretty intrigued with what was going on on the computer screen!
Here is a series of pictures I took trying to get a picture of Logan with the puppies. As you can see it was interesting. Still not sure which one is the best - they are all pretty funny. Snoop was scared of the whole situation, Emma was pretty good sitting still but seemed to be bored with the whole situation and I can tell Logan loves his puppies already. I can't wait until he is able to chase them around! Emma and him will be best friends!

Here is a good pic of Logan's baby blues taken today. Pat and his family have blue eyes so there is a good chance he'll keep them!
Here is another picture of Logan taken today on his changing table. He loves getting his diaper changed and will usually always give us smiles as we are doing it. I can already tell he is going to be one of those boys that takes their diaper off all the time and runs around the house naked!!
