Springtime

Happy Springtime everyone! The Morrison family is enjoying the fact that the weather is finally getting nice outside (except for today - it is cold and rainy!). We have been doing some work in the yard, planting flowers, mushroom hunting, fishing, walking and lots more!

Logan continues to grow and his personality is starting to come through more everyday. He loves to smile and laugh and seems to prefer that mood more then the rest - which we like. He has the cutest little smile and I can never get enough of his laugh. He isn't crawling yet but I think he is starting to get closer - he is starting to realize that he has control of where is body goes and will flop around and try to sit up or lay down - all a fun learning process! He sometimes gets bored easily and always wants to be doing something different (he gets that from his mom). He loves to play with Mommy and Daddy and still thinks we are the coolest people ever! His puppies are pretty used to him being around and I think have accepted that he's here to stay. Emma still gives him kisses as she's walking by but Logan is starting to learn how to put his arm up or move his face if he see's her coming. Snoopy still keeps her distance from him, you can tell she knows that if she gets too close to Logan that he'll try and grab her. Which of course makes Logan want to do it even more! Logan really enjoys just seeing new things. When we take him to the mall or on a walk, he just looks around taking everything in.

We hope everyone has a great summer and we hope to see you all soon! Enjoy the below photos from the past couple weeks:

Logan on his first mini merry-go-round (with some help from Daddy)

Family photo (that we took ourselves) in front of the purple tree that blooms a couple weeks out of the year.
Logan, Mommy, Daddy and both puppies had a picnic and went mushroom hunting at Jester Park. Daddy found two whole mushrooms!
Logan and Mommy playing while waiting for dad to come back with all the mushrooms!

Getting ready to go mushroom hunting and fishing at Grandma and Grandpa Morrison's house. Logan decided he wanted to dress himself and this is what he picked out!

Going fishing - didn't have much luck that day...

Grandma Morrison and Logan in a baby carrier from the 1970's I think!

Give me that camera - I want it!

All this fishing and mushroom hunting has wore me out!

Dogs enjoyed the hunting/fishing trip!

Logan and his second cousin Easton meeting for the first time. Easton was born about a month before Logan. They share the same middle name - Charles - after their great-grandpa!

Grandma Cathy and Logan on Mother's Day. Logan is enjoying his hat and showing off his two teeth!

Daddy and Logan on draft day. Sadly Dad is trying to convince him to be a 49er's fan. Go Vikings!

Logan playing the piano he got from Aunt Jordan. Mozart in the making!
