Last weekend we celebrated Pat's 30th birthday with a get together at our place. It was a lot of fun and I'm so happy that we had great friends to celebrate with. The only sad part of the get together was that I was horrible at taking pictures!! I only took one and that was of Pat right before we started golfing (seen below). Oh well - I guess we'll just have to remember it all! Happy 30th Patrick - I can't wait to celebrate the next 30 years with you and every year after that!
After a busy memorial day weekend we were happy to have a relaxing couple days at home this weekend before our busy June schedule starts up. Logan and I are traveling down to Florida on Saturday with Aunt Jordan to visit my dad. He's lived down there for almost 4 years and we've never had a chance to visit. Sadly Patrick has to stay home because he has no time off left until August. I'm sure he'll miss us tons but secretly I think he may enjoy some peace and quiet - and the NBA playoffs of course. The rest of June is filled with more fun times - birthdays, weddings and car trips!
Our little boy turns 8 months tomorrow - can you believe it!! We continue to love watching him grow - he is such a happy little boy and keeps mommy and daddy laughing all day. He isn't crawling yet (which secretly I'm happy about) but I don't think it will be too much longer. He still moves himself around pretty good and goes from sitting to laying down to flipping over all in one swift movement! He is talking a lot more and we're pretty sure he is saying mamma now. I'm not totally convinced that he is meaning to say it but it seems like he is! It is so funny how I can see both me and Pat in his personality. He is going to be a little trouble maker but he can also just sit back and relax. Many more fun days ahead and we can't wait!

The "mama" video is too cute! AND I loved the comment about Logan posing for his pictures just like Pat! :-) Sounds like you'll be busy in the weeks to come -- enjoy! Happy 8 months to Logan!
